Made from Sugar N Cream. Was given to the Gifts of Hope, a store that sells items in a cancer center in Providence, RI
Made for my best friend, it will unfortuntely, fit no one but children. Will try again later.
Knit in Merino Style from KnitPicks, I used this pattern : http://www.knitlist.com/97gift/holeysock.htm
These were my first socks ever, and I really loved them. Hopefully my mom will this winter, as well.
I bought this yarn off of Ebay, and used a simple online pattern. It was a project I used to get better with DPNs.
Wavy from Knitty. I wanted to get better at knitting, so this pattern with its constantly changing k3,p3, was perfect. I used some old Red Heart, and learned how to purl Continental.
I fell in love with these the first time I ever bought a Rebecca Magazine. I wasn't a big knitter then, but I started them anyway. I got through to the second leg, but I realized I had messed up. Not being much of a knitter, I put it down, and didn't try again for about another two years. Even if I never get to the beach to wear them, I still love them just cause they're finished.
I made these socks for my father.
Regia Stratto yarn
Size 3 Brittany Needles
Online basic men's sock pattern
Knit in Knitpicks Elegance, with a Knitpicks pattern, the Endless Loop Scarf, on size 19 needles. Way too much like Last Minute Knitted Gifts' Airy, for my tastes. Otherwise, like the scarf.
I used KnitPicks Wool of the Andes in Hush, size 7 needles, and a chart from Lavish Lace (Parrot House Stole cable pattern, with an edging of 5 garter stitches on either side). Going to be gifted to Andy's mom for her birthday.
I used Pingoin Fleur de Laine yarn in a hunter green to make this for my dad. It's going to be one of his Christmas gifts.
Done with Denise needles in suggest size, and Andean Silk yarn from KnitPicks. I found it to be a slow knit for me, as I lost interest, otherwise, should have only taken a week. The yarn blocked BEAUTIFULLY, and is now a favorite of mine. Made for my mom, for her birthday.
Done in Lamb's Pride, and with a free online pattern, size 7 dpn's. Hard to do, as I was trying to keep it a secret from Andy.
Done with Denise Needles, with Manos yarn, and a japanese book pattern. Next time I'd use a bulkier yarn, but otherwise, just loved it.
I made the Umbilical Cord hat from Stitch N Bitch for a friend, from Cotton Tots, and a vest from a Japanese knitting book in KnitPicks Shine.
