From this craftster thread , I made this:
Don't you want to Panta?
I did!
Ignore some of my stranger facial expressions...I was sick of taking pictures inside, so I went outside...to the back stoop of my apartment. It was around 5:30, and there's been a house under construction right there, so I was kind of worried the construction workers were still right there, and I just couldn't see them clearly through the trees. And they'd notice some chick on the back stoop taking pictures of her head. So to say this was rushed, is a little bit of an understatement.
Panta, knit with almost a full ball of KnitPicks Wool of the Andes on cute pink vintage size 5 needles. Only change I made, was I slipped the first and last stitch on every wrong side. It made the edges a bit rounder, I think.
So back to the Rebecca wrap cardi. I have a goal, that's a bit out there, but hopefully attainable. Next Wednesday, I have an appointment with my hairdresser, and right after my appointment, when my hair is freshly cut and dyed, I want to take my FO pictures of the Rebecca cardi. Hey, I said it was a bit out there. We'll see :) 7 days to a finished knit.
I'll be glad to get done...the cats are completely fascinated with the mohair yarn. It seems I should be keeping it under lock and key, because no matter WHAT, those suckers get it. Case in point, I left it in a knitting bag, covered with the magazine, to get up and use the bathroom. When I came back:
That's right. From our loveseat, wrapped around our futon, and then starting down the hallway. I'm so glad they work together *ends sarcasm*.
And Izzy, has been obsessed with sheepie, my tape measure. She stole him off of MY desk, ran off with him, to Andy's chair.
My sheepie.
I eat him now.
hehe looks like a cat toy to me *g* Sheepie, that is... though if you ask my four, yarn is also a cat toy. Doesn't help that hubby just thinks it's "string" and is always snipping yarn from a ball to drag around for them.... sheesh, men and cats, no respect for fiber whatsoever lol.

Found your blog looking for a hat pattern. Very interesting. Love the kittys - they can get into things.

Aww, how cute is he! Last night Kittycat grabbed my measuring tape--plain ordinary one, but he developed a fascination with it while I was measuring something--and ran right off with it. Had to chase him down to get it back. He thought that was a great game :-p
