Thank you all for the lovely comments you left about the story I told you about Dee and Geoff.
And yes, I do have a slightly sick sense of humor...after dealing with doctors and residents, some days lord knows I need it :)
Anyway, since I've been catching up with my blog reading (I made it to the 900's today in Bloglines...down from over 2000 posts, and still having a blast reading them all at once!), I've read quite a few memes that went around, and not really memes, but questions people asked. I'm referring to Grumperina's question, who knows about your knitting blog? question right now.
I don't exactly keep it a secret (Andy knows, my parents know, it's linked in my user info at my private Live Journal, and quite a few of my friends know OF it), but no one really has access to it. Save the two "real life" friends who read my LiveJournal, who could just hop over from my userinfo, but I don't think they do or care). It's not really a privacy issue with me...it's more of a "I don't want you to see your Christmas gifts" issue. I've even mentioned a friend by his full name and company once on my old blogger journal, and he could have googled himself and found it, and still, I don't care. It's ok, Steve's not on my Christmas gift list :)
Speaking of Steve though, brings me to another really cool thing going on right now...I met Steve's wife once, at my ill fated wedding, before she unfortunately passed away from cancer. On Sunday, they're broadcasting her induction to the Olympic Hall of Fame :) Isn't that AWESOME? I feel quite a few degrees cooler just having KNOWN someone being inducted to the Olympic Hall of Fame. I can't wait to watch it (thank ye Gods for TiVo). Steve said it was wonderful, and a true memorial to his wife's memory. If you're bored some time, google her, Diana Golden. Very, very inspiring.
Anyway, back to knitting in the next entry, I promise, hopefully with more pictures :)
I read, shhhhh don't tell anyone ;)

She really packed in a lot of life into a short time. Amazing woman!
