I'm so close to being finished some projects, that it's gone into that scary knit time stands still thing...no matter how much I do, hours and hours, it seems to be going NOWHERE. Two projects, only mere rows from completion, and nadda. Not one FO. Grr.
Have you ever noticed you have knit moods? I know Wendy of WendyKnits fame has mentioned this, as we saw with the Summer of Lace (now known as Lace for All Seasons). My mood lately tends to go from lace, to wanting to knit cables, to color work. I wish I could follow those moods more closely, but instead, I'm sort of a slave to what I NEED to be knitting. Such as right now, Christmas gifts. But I've been letting the moods dictate a bit more what the gifts shall be. There are QUITE a few cabled and lace goods on my knitting gift list, and tomorow, I'll try to write a post more in depth, with pictures, of how my moods have affected my choice of projects.
Lots of yarn in the mail today, all slated for projects :) Went to a yarn store, too, to pick up the last Christmas knits yarn, as I figured out the last project that had been eluding me. I couldn't figure out for the life of me what I wanted to make my mom for her December birthday, and when I found the perfect pattern, I got so excited, I wanted to hit the yarn store immediately. I settled for today, the day after instead. I'm still so excited, that the link is still open on my PC.
See what I mean about knitting moods? More on this tomorrow.
Hope your feeling well! You are definetly talented, cute, and courageous. I am sending lots of good vibes your way. Hugs!
Hey I want to learn to knit, whats the best way to learn by myself?

Wow, I'm impressed that you are making several Christmas gifts. I always find myself bogged-down, busy, and a little crazy during the holiday season.
One day, I'll have myself a less frantic holiday and try to actually make a few items. This year, my aspiration is only one knittind gift. :)
