The pounding goes on. All day long, there were roofers here replacing ours, from 7 in the morning, till 7 at night. Andy and I (well, I am at least. He's pretty much gotten over it) have had a cold for the past week, and I'm still fighting it. Napping was almost impossible (hey, remember, I'm sick).
That's Chloe on a better day. I tried to snap it when she was first holding her paw over her eyes, but it slipped to over her nose. Figuring it's probably more accurate, I snapped it anyway.
I also have some pictures of my birthday haul from Andy's parents.
Sheep soap. I nearly peed my pants with the cuteness.
A cast iron sheep. It is SO heavy.
And finally, actual knitting content. I'm still busy working on Andy's Christmas scarf. The Noro Kureyon is really ticking me off. It keeps breaking. Is this really common with Noro? This last ball of yarn, has broken 3 times (all on two rows) and has 2-3 knots where they just tied the yarn back together. Otherwise, I love how it looks. At some point, I'll get a better shot of the texture.
Well, that's about it for now...I'm enjoying this new journal a lot so far.

Sheep soap!?! How cute is that?? And the cast iron one is very cute himself!
I've never knit with Noro, so I don't know about the breakage... but I do think your scarf looks great!!
Hope you feel better soon!

Ugh...I hear you on the Noro. Ironically, I read this post right before going to my LYS's huge yarn sale. They are going out of buisness, so of course my mind is saying "well, now's the time to try that Noro that you've been wanting to work with..." I never had the breaking problem with Silk Garden (granted, I only worked with it once...) but I tried to start a hat today with the Kureyon and oh my. Broke like four of five times just trying to cast it on. I can't imagine everyone having this problem, it seems like so many people absolutley love it. The colorway of the yarn you are using for the scarf is amazing, though! :)
